hey i was wondering when the pictures where taken i just recently visited and would like to know, im looking at all of your pictures and in them there are some things….missing, when i went there was another grave…the rocks where no longer blocking the entrance, just the gate, and there is now a sign by the gate that has a new name…

when you went in the front door was there a floor or boards to walk on with a big hole where the basment would be? when i was younger we went looking for it and found a house (we always went late at nite) and like the other comment opened the fridge to find milk and other things still good. we never thought we were in the rite house but it wasnt locked or anything and their was a phone there too i belive.

Guernsey Hollow

I am intrigued with what I have heard about Guernsey Hollow Cemetery. My wife, son, his girlfriend, and myself took a day trip there today to check it out. What we experienced there was amazing. When we were at the upper right hand corner I experienced the strangest feeling. The only way I can describe it is like the feeling of vertigo you get when looking off the top of a tall building. Later on, my wife returned to that corner, alone, and experienced a voice in her subconscious stating,”I need to tell you that there are slaves here, beyond the fence, and no one knows. We are unmarked and forgotten.”, or something to that extent. She also felt a tugging on her arm begging, “Please come”. We are both sensitive to paranormal phenomena. When we returned home, I did some research on the Internet and found your website. To my shock and astonishment, I read the account of the September 27, 2001 trip. It was eerie to see that others felt something in that corner of the cemetery…and…the burials beyond the fence! Can you direct us to any information on the history of that area and the burial ground/foundation.
Please let me know what happened there.

I just got chills reading this! I have also been to Guernsey Hollow, me and my friends went when we were seniors and we definitely didn’t have has much equipment or a plan as drawn out as this but we had a couple digital cameras, a video camera, and our own beliefs in the paranormal. I have crazy pictures from that night and I also kissed the cross. It was an experience of a life time and I hope to go back there in the future with a plan more like this one. We also experienced the raining outside of the cemetery and not in the cemetery. After kissing the cross we were standing at the back right corner of the cemetery almost under that pine tree and I felt like someone was crushing in my chest and I couldn’t breathe. And at the same time I had what felt like needles going down my spine. It was crazy!
It was cool reading this and being able to re-live my own Guernsey experience!!

i was raised in this lil town n we have been here but i never recall do’n the chant……we wer always told tht u put ur keys on top of the car n chant his name 3 times n get bck in n ur car wont start but like i said i dnt recall ever do’n it….tho i have been thr late at night n it is pretty spooky…whn i was lil we all went camping thr n i heard all sorts of noises throughout the night…wht it was i cldnt tell you but as a child i was scared!!!

I may have some more information on the Kiantone Springs/Harmonia. The community spread both North and South of the NY border. The major springs, to my understanding, were on both sides as well, but mainly on the PA side. The excavations were definitely on the PA side.

I am the owner of the previous Chase Family property where Mr. Spears brought the community. The community — by my family and other records — were forcibly removed by local residents in 1857. They then established a community now known as Lilydale.

Referring to the Chadakoin monster:My dad was alone on his boat and saw what at first he thought was a log but after stoping the boat and getting closer he saw what he believes to be a monster in the water similar in appearance to the loch ness monster.

I would just like to tell you what I have heard about the house of seven secrets. Although I have never seen the house myself (I was never sure where it was), I have been told that at times the house will be burnt to the ground, but if you return to it later, it will be standing again. I know this seems too strange to be true, but so the story goes. Also sometimes you can see the house from the top of some nearby hill, but when you drive past it, the house is gone again.. I have heard stories about footprints in the snow that just stop with no trees overhead or any other explanation for where someone could have left them. Also something about a refrigerator fully stocked, or a rocking chair rocking on its own, and a telephone in the house that is not hooked up, but if you lift the receiver, a voice says over and over get out of the house. I also have heard everything that you had listed in your story as well. I was always interested in this story. I just thought I would pass on what I have heard in the past.
